Candidate for US Congress in OH-12 https://ChristianForOhio.com “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'" ~ Mr. Rogers

Organized labor gave us the 40-hour work week, weekends, job security, and lifesaving safety standards. Today is a celebration of the progress we can make when workers have strong unions and the power to advocate for ourselves and our future.

Most candidates ignore places like Holmes County, either because they're sure to win or they're sure to lose. But I don't care how any place voted in 2024. Real leaders show up, make connections, build relationships, and get to know the PEOPLE they want to represent. I'll be back very soon.

Another candidate recently joked that they don't have to work as hard when we campaign together because folks come over to talk as soon as they see me. That was certainly the case around Noble County and Buckeye Lake yesterday. On to Killbuck today and Canal Winchester tomorrow!

Great 🧵 from @jerradchristian.bsky.social Troy Balderson is more than happy to meet with oil companies who want to extract Ohio’s natural resources with paying a pittance to the land owners. Let’s help send Jerad to Congress and return Troy back to private life. Share his slides far and wide! 💙🩵💙🩵

ATTENTION, OHIO! I know many of you don't know who your representative in Congress is. You really, really should.🧵

If you live in the blue area, Troy Balderson is your representative in Congress, or he plans to be after the November election.

Thank you to the Buckeye Veterans Coalition for your endorsement and for the work you do for Ohio’s veterans. As a veteran, I appreciate the trust you’re placing in me to work to improve the lives of the American people, protect our freedom, and defend the Constitution.

My opponent voted today to end federal support for any college or university that divests from Israel AND withhold financial aid for students attending those schools. They call this anti-American, Israel First bill the "Protect Economic and Academic Freedom Act."

WE WON! Pataskala City Council REJECTED the Aligned Data Center proposal last night. Thank you to everyone who packed the room and watched from outside. Your voice matters. Here's what I had to say during the meeting.

Hanging? We need to call this what it is: LYNCHING. Ten Black Americans in less than two years. Every one of these deaths deserves answers, transparency, and scrutiny. No one should look at these images and expect Black Americans to shrug this off, especially in light of our history.

"We the people don't want data centers!" Thank you to Brandyn and No Data Centers for inviting us to walk alongside them in Pataskala today. We need a national moratorium until there are regulations in place to protect our communities and our planet.

I entered politics because I felt angry and hopeless for our future. I wanted to do something about it, and I realized I wasn't alone. In every community, there are people trying to make the world a better place. Win or lose in November, I will continue to show up and help them.

My team and I are staying apprised of flood conditions across the district. This isn't over. Rain is expected to continue through Saturday. Please follow your county sheriff's office and emergency services for road closures and resources, and do not risk driving through water to help.

You know I'd never miss a chance to pet some animals! I've been holding on to these photos from last weekend's stops in Muskingum and Fairfield counties so I could use my small-but-mighty platform for flood relief. You can find me back at the Muskingum County Fair tomorrow night.

Please bring water, food, bleach, and cleaning tools to the Crooksville Family Dollar donation site. Kristofer, Alex, Cowboy (David), and more volunteers are out there helping with clean-up and supporting folks who can't make it to Roseville.

I'm on my way home from Crooksville and Roseville. I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who donated to Hope For Crisis to help feed the community. They told me a lot of donations are coming in from my posts. You guys are awesome! Thank you for being good humans.
