Their sound operates within a progressive rock framework, though instrumental and heavy, bordering on metal and post rock at times. Josh Vincent sets forth complex riffs and arpeggiated chords, while Jeff Gonzalez provides correspondingly involved rhythmic patterns. The feel is largely upbeat, even if Vincent and Gonzales characterize their effort as a "construct of sonic anxiety." …
