We apologize for yesterday’s service problems. Bluesky experienced a DDoS attack—a flood of junk traffic meant to knock servers offline—over a period of 24 hours. We have upgraded our defenses in response, and we continue to monitor the situation. Follow @status.bsky.app for any updates.

Gonna be a super busy week now that I'm down a coworker... Got some stuff done this weekend on the doujin; this week I need to shift my focus to the details I skipped to figure out later, and then some of the backgrounds shading. By the end of the month, I want to be working on the effects.

You know when you've worked on something for such a long time that you zoom through it and are no longer conscious of the pacing? That's where I'm at as I take my first look at the whole thing for like 2wk.

Booted up Mario Sunshine on NSO for my girlfriend to try since she never grew up with it. The controls feel weird and hard to use. Did I think that... 24... years ago... 😰 Also, that intro and voice acting...

big video update today! 🚢 now in beta: - you can upload videos up to 10 min long - video uploads should be much faster than before - upload progress indicator should be more accurate try it by enabling beta features here: bsky.app/settings/bet... may take a bit to fully roll out. lmk how it goes!

Character shading probably 26.5/36 pages complete. There's one or two panels I skipped for now or put off drawing that I will have to eventually go back to, but goal is by Saturday if I really work efficiently. I think some of the lighting I went with is too dramatic and overrendered, but eh.

It's actually interesting seeing what techniques I used in my first doujin where I gave myself strict limits versus this one where it's open to whatever. The old one definitely has more contrast that I dunno if would translate if I brought it over.

Summer isn't quite over yet... But I wanted to compile the adventures my dragon girls have had so far this summer 🏖️😎 Wishing you all a great rest of your summer ^^

Playing Smash on a pro controller for the first time in years. I don't think I've ever not gotten confused on diamond button layouts... Gamecube was just so much better with priority-based button sizes. I've never adapted.
