3 months ago today I started learning to crochet. Heres a rough timeline of all my attempts so far, from left to right. Crazy to see the improvement.

Seeing one of my first attempts at crocheting in rows right up next to a perfectly square patch I did last night is kinda wild.

Been learning to crochet recently. Made a couple of small granny squares. The one I did tonight took me just under an hour, just from memory without checking the pattern. Definitely feels like progress!

I feel like I've had such a huge urge to be creative recently, but I'm struggling to channel that into actually creating things rather than just exploding in every direction into wanting to learn to crochet, learn the piano, want to write more, make games, run a D&D campaign, cook more, etc etc etc.

Almost 6 months on hrt, managed to get my prescription increased today now blood test results are in, yay.

I don't really have a train of thought. It's more like a replacement bus service of thought with a missing tyre during a bus driver's strike.

Exhausted after First Saturday! 2 mission banners earned, lots of walking (on a still painful ankle from spraining it on Christmas morning), got over 2 million AP and now severely need to restock on resos. Can't level up until I get 2 more gold badges but already 1 million AP into the next level.

First Onyx badge! Just about 3 months into playing. It pays to be super anal about keeping everything charged. ...I literally don't have any of the other badges at platinum level. Although Translator isn't far off.

My latest gaming hyperfixation is Ingress, and recently I found it was possible to make a 4-layer homogeneous field around a local(ish) park, so last night we went and did it :D The whole triangle is 4 layers of fields on top of each other. Hella nerdy? Yes. But it's getting me out of the house.

472 days of peak streak for @retroachievements.org, and it's over. It's a shame it had to happen this way, but it's probably for the best. This is the longest streak I've probably ever done at anything ever, and I am very proud of it. But time to move on. New challenges await.

Feel like I'm deep in the TCG rabbit hole. Friend helped me put together this deck based on the Belle enchanted I pulled. Going to enter set champs with it tomorrow, my hopes and expectations are both low but if I can win a single game with a deck I had SOME input into, I'll consider that a win.

365 days of Peak Streak, COMPLETE. Technically 366 because my first didn't count. I don't know how I've managed this honestly. Every single day since 1st May 2024 I've mastered a game on RetroAchievements. That's kind of ridiculous to think about. Well, now what do I do with my life? Carry on?

My RetroAchievements peak streak (mastering a game each day) is now on 364 days. Tomorrow I will have mastered a game every single day for the last YEAR. I think this is the longest streak I've ever had in anything, quite how I've actually managed to keep this up I have no idea.

Met someone I've been chatting to for a while today and she taught me Disney Lorcana ten minutes before I joined a 16 person tournament with a deck I borrowed from her. Trans dates involve an unusually high amount of trading card games, I know that's a bit of a meme but WHY IS IT SO TRUE?!

Think I've got tonsilitis... Literally been suffering with a sore throat for the last week and super painful swallowing which painkillers and lozenges haven't helped with at all and now finally I'm at the point of maybe considering possibly MAYBE that I MIGHT try and get a GP appointment tomorrow.
