My wife and I returned yesterday from a trip to the UK. We flew into Bergen Norway, then took a cruise around the British Isles, making various stops in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and England, and ending up in London. Then we spent a few days in Oxford.
Among other things, we saw Shetland ponies in the Shetland Islands, Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh, the Irish cities of Belfast and Dublin, a Beatles museum, and a music show at the Cavern Club in Liverpool,
a 13th century castle in Wales, the white cliffs of Dover, the Tower of London, Oxford University, and Highclere Castle where Downton Abbey was filmed.
