A while ago I wrote a blurb about Jacky stealing Tam's coat and sitting in her car rental with it and a bunch of people turned their head because they didn't expect there to be cars in my setting. Jacky is from Oregon lol

Jacky sits in the driver's seat of her rental. She's sitting in a sunny spot, but looking into the car at Tam's coat, which is cast in shadow. There's a White Star Car Rental brochure in the console. The RP post: She went back to Oregon. The adventure was over for now. She took the coat with her as a memento- but it was a burden every minute she possessed it. It was too big. Jacky tried rolling it up like a sleeping bag and gave up after the third time it rebounded in her face. It was so determined to return to his shape. Her power trip had turned into a power fail, and it was not even very useful. It was on the passenger side of her rental taking up the seat and the floorboard. When she put it there it was balled up, but it had since spilled over like a stretching cat. The rental was bigger than she'd asked for- a titanic SUV -but now, with the seat all the way forward and all the way down so she could kick at the pedals and still not enough room for the coat, she was glad. It would have reached over and smothered me in a car. She pulled off the road into a paved square with trees yawning over it and cut the engine. It knocked as it went to sleep. The coat spilled onto the gear stick again and she slapped it out of the way. She could have put it in the back, there was room, but she didn't like having it behind her. The big bitch was supernatural. She had tried wearing it once when it got chilly but when she had it around her shoulders it was uncannily like having her back turned to a dark corner or her feet in deep water. It was warm, but it also wasn't worth it. And the guilt. She felt very guilty. It didn't feel like spoils, it felt like stealing, and that was weirder to sit with than she thought it would be. She was ready to pitch it in the Good Will box but she couldn't bring herself to abandon it. So it was still here. Reminding her that her last interaction with Tam was to give him a new reason to have a bone to pick.

I got a bird feeder and the mourning doves ate every single safflower seed. It started with three and has escalated to eleven. Friend said I should try sunflower seeds to attract red cardinals. I should. I like the doves but I want some cardinals. I'm... less excited about bluejays. Noisy fucks.

I think I'll let this account also be plants and things. I don't really like to flood my main. It'd be different if I was doing a lot of personal art right now to balance it out- but I'm just not.

Any care tips for this thing? I think it's a string of hearts. Its tied to a wooden plank with sphagnum moss and been looking worse/floppier every day. The moss dries out quickly. I don't know if I'm trying to keep it too wet, or if it's always too dry.

Made my choices on the two most recent YCHs And that makes me pretty full up que wise. If there are any more it'll be because I got bored and cleared up space but I can't promise. Working on getting stuff from the entire que sent. There's only a few people left with no updates yet- working on that.

I'm not interested in doing Jacky pred stuff but if she was a pred she'd power trip. And yeah, canonically she shapeshifts into a green quad with black stripes (nicknamed bashcat). I just almost never draw it in recent years.
