this is the same exact dynamic that drives me nuts about everyone trump nominates for anything just blanket vote against them all, if they’re being nominated it doesn’t matter what their background is or what they say in a confirmation hearing they are a villain and disqualified by definition

The administration prosecuting a setting Congressperson for attempting to inspect an immigration detention facility really ought to be drawing much more alarm than it is.
They’re in the early stages of building one in Iowa right now. It’ll be hella funny if they do it in a year when Dems flip the governor’s mansion, a Senate seat and 2-3 House seats.
