🧵New report from the @childrenscomm.bsky.social shines a bright light on a broken care pathway for children and young people experiencing gender dysphoria. Most get nothing. Only 15% get referred on to the Gender Service, and only 15% assessed / treated for co-occurring mental health need.

Not to labour a point, but this is not a "new scheme", or a "Canada style scheme". Literally there are conversion therapy manuals that start with isolating your child from all potential sources of safeguarding and supportive information and cutting them off from unmonitored internet access so they can find the number for ChildLine while you're not watching is right up there.

A lot of the “kids online safety” proponents actually are anti-LGBTQ extremists and fundamentalists who want kids to have less freedom and don’t care if that actually makes them tremendously less safe too
