Why do so many people hate shopping sessions. I love them, a chance to practice my NPC voice, build my world a little. Give players some lesser stakes to engage with. Ive seen people skip them all together. WHY ??

Whats the most prep and least prep you've ever done. I once had 7 pages of A4 for a single session, obviously it was too much, the least productive prep ive done was four lines describing 4 different NPCs. Im not counting no prep sessions. weve all done them.

I used to suck at Combat in my sessions. So I ran a Combat only campaign to force myself to improve. It helped my DMing style a lot and showed me there are ways to make combat interesting. What was something you sucked at, and how did you improve?

I cant get over how much I love the flash back mechanic from Blades in the Dark. It fits the game perfectly, allows players so much agency and allows fluid story telling that other systems sorely lack....
