When Hope Hurts: Misscarriage and faith devotional

Miscarriage is a kind of grief that often feels silent, unseen, and hard to explain. It’s the loss of a life you never got to meet, the end of dreams that had already begun to form, and the painful tension of faith existing alongside disappointment. Examiners’ Voices Matter: Share Your Experience

Behind every exam result is an examiner. Each summer, thousands of examiners dedicate hours of their time and expertise to ensuring that young people’s work is marked fairly. Yet, the process is not without its challenges, and one area that continues to emerge is the impact of technical issues during the marking period.

Decoding Exam Season: How Social Media Reveals Students’ Stress and Strategies

Link to original post on EdD UCL Blog on 8 August 2025: Exam season. The words alone can trigger a mix of emotions, stress, anxiety, and even dread. But what if I told you that amidst the undeniable pressure, students are finding a voice, a community, and even a sense of humour on social media? As an educator, examiner and researcher, I've been fascinated by the intersection of high-stakes assessments and social media right from my Master's in Educational Assessment (UCL) (Dike-Oduah, 2018).
