Nothing beats the feeling of going to the store on a whim and scoring! They didn't have any Destros but Quick Kick is the one I like more anyway. I've never had his original figure but now he's a badass American ninja! This guy gets the patriotic theming across better than the ones that are trying.

GI Joe picture of the day: Cobra Combat Engineers arrive by helicopter. Inspired by the sapper who landed on the roof of the mobile HQ with a FANG in Comic issue 19! Featuring a FANG (my childhood mail-order version; you can tell by how discolored the gun ball is) and Gas Mask Troopers (2006).
After you meticulously clean, change out old o-rings and pray that no plastic has broken since the last time you handled them, remember to take your toys outside and take crummy pictures of them in the rain.

Compared to some of my peers in the GI Joe community, I'm not much of an army builder. Two of each troop type is usually enough for me (and sometimes a repaint as a squad leader). But there are TONS of Vipers to choose from. Here are all of mine, finally all equipped as I want them.
