An improved pic of my evening.Pierce Brosnan was so kind, gentle, & chatty. It was a VIP room, no one was queuing up for photos, I was having a private chat with the Dame & he came up to say hello, & interposed himself in our photo. He clearly loves Helen. As of course do I.
The after-party very different;I was escorted my lovely friend. Dame Helen looked amazing & her usual loving self & the extra treat for me was when the brilliant & gorgeous Pierce Brosnan joined us for a chat.

It’s that fabulous actor Melvyn Hayes’ 91st birthday today. I met Melvyn for the 1st time at the recent Hammer premiere of The Curse of Frankenstein; not only was he a hysterically funny stand up,he was a terrific guy to catch up with afterwards.
I was so hoping this wasn’t true but it seems the fine actor & stuntman Derek Martin has died. I never worked with him but met him at MistyMoon Sweeney reunion. He was a lovely, interesting talented man. R.I.P.
