Bilibili is apparently making a renewed effort to enter the global market. The video-sharing app is updating its International app without ID verification, new social accounts (bilibili_create + _games + _music), and launching a creator hub (Discord) to onboard creators.

I think I need a mental reset. There’s a clear burnout somewhere in my workflow.

I have turned mine off. However, the fatal issue is, if the streamer you chat on hasn’t done so, your chatter there is STILL getting trained on. That’s it. I said what I said prior.

YouTube is making changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) for *new* applicants. Starting February 1, 2027, creators will need: 1. 8000 Qualified Watch Hours (up from 4000), or 2. 20M Qualified Shorts Views (up from 10M) There are no eligibility changes for fan funding.

I’ve began subtitling the following video while someone is QC-ing the upcoming vid. I really hope this is the last of vids before I actually get my rest for reals. (Well, not really “rest” per-se. I’m still working on cleaning up overdue mess and making sure that everything’s clean once I’m back)

Fighting through burnouts by taking one day off solving a funny issue surrounding a game server manager all because the maintainer forgot to update the unRAID template for the very project they contribute in to reflect the latest mount paths got me giggling a little. I feel a little better now 😊

If Twitch spearheads GenAI, I’ll be solo streaming to YT again. I DO NOT consent to any training. Worse when not everything can be opted out if that’s the case. Can these knuckleheads understand how deep in money are they when AI, oh wait, it dried up, sucks to be you, business elsewhere we go.
