Random writing tip: Write out a one line summary of your story. Then do it again but differently. Then again. And again and again, until you are barely think of how to say the same thing in a different way. You’ll understand so much more about your story and how to express it by the end.

This is wonderful- A huge honour! As I have said before, Exile was a book that I wasn’t expecting to write. The idea for it arrived literally as I was talking to my editor about why another pitch was a no go. Turned out pretty well in the end!
