Thread: I just . . . In a study with a grad student, we were testing communication styles with scientific recommendations & used the CDC as our "source". The results were skewed based on political ideology. Two people commented that if this had been 2023-24, they would have trusted it more.

As someone else pointed out, this seems to be a good start to acknowledge taxes may go up for many of us while the benefit would be getting healthcare that could be less expense overall. Healthcare should not be for profit. I hear that from my healthcare providers, as well. #WorkingToFix2026

I have said over & over to folks (and it may come up in class this year), could you imagine how different things may have been in 2020 & yes, 2021, etc., if Trump had not tried to use Covid as a political tool (e.g., wanting to tamp down reporting of numbers/testing; working closely with WHO; /1
