In my infinite wisdom, I'm considering yet another side project. 😅I have this idea of creating a stripped down, minimalist version of the TRIAD rules to publish as a Zine. Condensing 200 pages of TTRPG rules down to just the essentials for a Skirmish game to try out & get people interested #gamedev

Have also started working on REformatting the printable version of the core rulebook due to technical issues that cropped up. In the process of doing so, I'm also doing a little bit of reorganizing in both the print and PDF formats for internal consistency to make a little more sense.

Star Wars: Zero Company is *almost* the kind of game we aspire to one day make. The character writing is great, the gameplay is solid. The main things it is missing are greater narrative choice and exploration, ie the things that would take it from a strategy game to a tactics RPG, imo.

#gamedev Mid-month update: more writing! Revelations about different connections filling in some gaps & motivating some character writing that has been on the backburner. Unfortunately not stuff necessary to get the #ttrpg out the door, but essential for getting actually playable modules & VGs ready

#ttrpg #gamedev update: minor tweaks to our core rulebook (added another gorgon subspecies), threw together a presentation to potentially serve as a pitch (video in the future), and slowly working our way through plotting out which art assets are needed and to prioritize.

Realized I've never posted examples of my artwork to this account. At least those that are relevant to my #ttrpg #gamedev. I quite enjoy drawing fantasy weapons and maps, need to get myself to practice more with humanoids and other creatures.

As for my own #gamedev work: I finished reformatting the core rulebook of the TRIAD #ttrpg! Now need to populate it with art and finish essential supplemental materials before I'll feel confident releasing to the public. Unfortunately, I'm back in college so I have even less time and energy for art😥

Finally getting back to work on reformatting the TRIAD rulebook for printing. The change in page size screwed up all of the item tables and trying to resize them to fit was frustrating me to the point I stopped working on it. Now just deleting them, remaking, and copying the data back over. #gamedev

When I started bringing on test readers for my system, one question I got was why world lore is the 1st chapter before any rules. I explained that GM's need to have a basis for adventure writing and players need info to pull from for their characters' backgrounds and beliefs. #ttrpg #fantasy
