Went for a lovely* evening walk S France *apart from the near death experience - I was crossing on a green man & car came hurtling round corner. It stopped about 15cm from me. Driver angrily gesticulating. OH angrily gesticulated back pointing at green man. Driver sheepishly said pardon

Headed down the coast towards Perpignan yesterday At 10am there was a lot of traffic heading north At 5pm there was even more traffic heading north! Journey took an age On the plus side the beaches & restaurants were empty France is preparing for La rentrée & grève season
