It took me a second to piece in “what way” tagging and assists feel bad in Tokon and I can only describe it like when you play a Mario 64 romhack and the dev added a new move to the L button. Like yeah it works but you can tell the game doesn’t know what the fuck that is
My final thoughts on Tokon is that it’s fine and way better than its initial showings but Skullgirls remains untouched forever. That’s the gold standard of fighters for me. And the way Tokon takes inputs feels incorrect, the way assists are timed feels bad, arc is afraid of burst of movement. Etc.
I don’t have many unbelievable clips from the Tokon beta cuz I only played so much but here’s prolly the best I managed to do.

I keep seeing people thinking this is a bluesky problem. If you're seeing this it thinks you're in a state or country with age verification laws. This is what every social media site will do if KOSA and the KIDS Act succeeds. Running to another socmed won't fix it, we have to fight the source.
