Today I learned my middle schoolers are pretty well versed in the lyrics of “Don’t Stop Believing.” I learned that when an instrumental acoustic version of it came on in the playlist I was using to help us focus for a reading diagnostic. You can imagine how that went.

I was reviewing research for policy-creation. Recent articles from peer-reviewed journals included references that either didn't exist or were inaccurate (they didn't say what the authors of the article claimed, and/or the citation had inaccuracies). I had to use older research (that's a switch!).

In my defense, I’m tired… but this just happened. I was at a rest stop and saw this tall poodle with a fancy haircut and really interesting black, white, and gray coloring. My brain: it’s probably AI Seriously My own eyeballs are seeing this in real time and space…
