Old; paranormalist; yes, I'm one of those deluded persons that thinks we coexist with interdimensional species that toy with us incessantly and I write tortured rubbish about it for a glossy 'haunted' mag who are kind enough to humour my oddness...

#phantomFriday Castle View Leicester, haunt of Black Annis, blue faced bogey woman who predated on errant children. Concocted from a nun who died in 1477, or a witch who predicted the fate of Richard III.. she was maybe an ancient deity..who dwelt in caves that connected to the castle by tunnels..

Friend Andy.. a.k.a. "the paranormal bouncer".. takes a picture of wife Sarah {#notmywife} with Mich from Haunted Heritage Events.. saint Mary de Castro church behind them.. Leicester Castle court room.. there have been courts of law on this site for 800 years... Prince Ruperts Turret Gateway.. 14th century entrance from the Newarke. Turret Gateway as seen from the Newarke

I've put a Happy Easter egg or two on the bottom of my initial Crich Tramway investigation write up.. after talking with others who have visited the museum recently on a follow up ghost hunt! in case you need a chocolatey paranormal fix for #PhantomsFriday 🐣🐤 huberthobux.wordpress.com?page_id=1574

Hold Very Tight Please…

on the hauntings of.. Crich Tramway Museum… Clang Clang… Clang Clang… (This article appears also on Spooky Isles website and a variation is featured in Haunted Magazine number 48)…

Really enjoyed a good old fashioned ghost hunt at Leicester Castle, with a lovely stay over at the #BelmontHotel ..struck lucky with this handsome old hotel (Georgian period surely?} affording us a comfortable stay after the "micro" but remarkable investigation at Leicestershire's oldest court rooms

#phantomsfriday Artist Serafino Macchiati 1861 - 1916 often depicted ghastly apparitions suggesting a wary interest in spiritualism. His otherworldly art implies a hidden world teeming with restless spirits in the comfortable surrounds of the bourgeoisie. (P.S He didn't invent Macchiato coffee)

Yum.. deep fried rabbit 🐰 eye balls on MasterChef.. salivating 👁️👁️... and just as I was sending up a blog on a haunted weekend away last October too.. yes its taken that long to write.. in my defence.. I did go down with a virus on that trip and have only recently recovered {almost} fully..

woke up with the full vigour of Spring this morning after an odd, spirit ridden night of dreams.. flung the window of my penthouse open and shouted down to the urchin below.."you boy! what day is it?" ..he gazed up in bemusement.. "Why guv'nor, it's the first day of world war 3" Went back to bed 🙄

Thought we'd scared the otherworldly activity away at the haunted school.. then the "book placer" poltergeist made a reappearance last night; it displaced {onto the corridor floor} a copy of Flat Stanley and of course there had been nothing there during after hours lock up! given us fresh impetus 👻

A lady at the place I work tells me she visited the Four Crosses at Cannock last Friday the thirteenth {of Feb}.. {on an organised ghost hunt of course}.. "a quiet night", she informs me.. except for the ghostly crying of a baby that only she {and an 'unknown to her' man} heard.. twice in an hour!

The Four Crosses, Cannock.. viewed from across the double carriageway.. the old Tudor style inn is abutted by a later brick extension. The Tudor style half with golden pub sign "Four Crosses" on the wall. The Four Crosses viewed from the car park at the rear shows the amalgamation of various architectural styles comprising the whole of the (now closed) hospitality establishment. My friend Sarah.. walks the pavement alongside the dual carriageway before we go into the building...

Apologies for being conspicuous by my absence.. I did get a little preoccupied by working in a haunted establishment..which all went a little 'grape shot' just before Xmas with activity off the scale.. so a few weeks ago we held a seance which has quietened things down quite a bit.. friends Sarah &
