At a time when many Americans are struggling and our national parks need billions of dollars in repairs and maintenance, this is where taxpayer money is going. Not just wasteful. Trump wasteful.
We found some fraud, waste, and abuse. Trump ordered the National Park Service to spend $5 million on a project to paint four horse statues using 23.75-karat gold leaf. This money was intended to maintain our national parks, but instead it’s being spent on gold paint for statues.
We do agree. With this administration, invoking your Fifth Amendment rights is often the smartest course of action. They have shown a willingness to aggressively pursue and target people, so protecting your constitutional rights is more important than ever.
