- To get better at writing, you have to write. Obnoxious, but sadly true. - When writing action heavy scenes (ex. fights, dancing, sex), focus on the characters’ emotions/motivations rather than pure choreography. - You gotta enjoy the process because it’s the only thing you can control.

Also, stop comparing yourself to others. Literally no one else is going to write YOUR story the way YOU would. We all bring our unique personal experiences, interests, and influences to the table. That’s what makes your writing (and any art tbh) special. It’s a STRENGTH, not a weakness.
