I think a lot about how he was a diseased slowly dying child when the entire fate of his nation was thrust onto his shoulders and when he finally desperately had some kind of flawed illusory safety for them a force completely beyond the scope of his view tells him everyone will die despite it all.

It's really funny to me that out of all the dawntrail characters, the most complex one with a background you can piece together throughout the patch quests that reshapes how alexandria ever ended up in its current state as well as how he became the person he is. is this fucking squirrel
