Badlands is here! Constant sand and wind often results in higher scale growth, at the cost of keratin and other materials for maintaining integrity. While arid-region deathclaws often have shattered horns or spikes, sometimes this aids in blending them in with their rocky surroundings perfectly.
I find incredible how these two are the closest living relatives of each other, yet they're also the most extreme opposite of any extant canid: the maned wolf is an open grassland, solitary omnivore/frugivore dog on stilts, the bush dog is a forest pack hunting hypercarnivore built like a sausage.
The new Game Boy Enhance model, the AGBM-02, is finally here! This is a replacement board for the AGBM-01, and uses AA batteries. For the uninitiated, my Game Boy Enhance design is a circuit-level recreation of the original GBA - it requires the use of the original CPU, so it's not emulation! 🧵
