When ICE “warns” noncitizens they can’t vote, it’s not a benign experience. It’s frightening; meant to intimidate lawful voters. That’s the lesson the civil rights movement & a failed prosecution Jeff Sessions conducted as US Atty teach us. Read about it here: joycevance.substack.com/p/the-reoccu...
😳 Trump loses it and SNAPS at a string of reporters, says Ilhan Omar might "go to jail," calls Somalia "a shit house," and boasts that thanks to a new program he announced today Americans "will make millions of dollars by turning others in" during absolutely deranged Oval Office event Supercut:
This is long. I hope you’ll read it anyway. I’ve brought the tea: claims of noncitizen voting, last minute pre-election charges; it’s the same tired playbook & it's failed before. They’re hoping you don't remember. But knowledge is power. Read here: joycevance.substack.com/p/the-reoccu...
The Reoccuring Myth of Voter Fraud
It’s “funny” how it’s surfacing just before an election. Again.

THEY ARE NOT POWERLESS TO STOP HIM! Go back to Washington, stand on the steps of the Capitol and demand Johnson and Thune recall the House and Senate, and impeach him. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK! THERE IS LITERALLY AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! (It's called the Constitution.)
Republican lawmakers are incensed about Trump's dismissal of Ukraine — and powerless to stop him. That frustration hit a new peak on Monday as they sought to address Trump’s decision to purchase Russian diesel, waive sanctions on Moscow, and potentially stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

Zelenskyy on Trump: "I hope that he will change his decisions, because I think it's all mistakes. It will not help us and it will not help the United States. But it's not my choice. And I hope he will change his attitude to Putin ... we can't compare me and Putin. He's the aggressor."
Three weeks before Election Day, Trump’s DOJ is trying to stop California from counting ballots based on unproven claims about noncitizen voters. Is the real goal to win in court—or to lay the groundwork for claiming another stolen election? My analysis: joycevance.substack.com/p/doj-v-cali...

Desperate to avoid an embarrassing loss in the midterms, Trump is still trying to find a way to use his false claims about “illegal immigrants” voting to interfere with mail-in voting, even after the ...

THREAD. People in the U.S. legally, deported with nothing—and dumped in a country where they have no place to live, no belongings.
I am in Cap Haitien interviewing people deported from the United States. I have been doing this kind of work for almost a decade and it literally does not get more dire than this. People have lost everything they built in the U.S. and are terrified and have no place to go or way to live.
Operating LLMs as connection machines is driven ultimately by descriptions, which now create the sort of hyperlink-like networks we used to only dream of. This in turn, if we learn to use it, can broaden our minds instead of narrowing them. These are good things and we should learn to do them.
Today I discussed how a live-streamed execution is meant to intimidate us into compliance Like soldiers at polling places is meant to frighten us from voting Authoritarianism requires FEAR. Don't surrender to it We have the numbers & the law & morality on our side www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wUY...
