The map in ESA2 needs a boundary, and the intent has been to put asteroids there. I ended up coding a little tool to automate the process somewhat and I'm glad I did because otherwise I would've had to place ~2500 asteroids by hand. It was still a hefty process though

Sea Sniffers IS a silly name 😂 In the game, Sea Sniffer is a profession. Like fisherman, but with a trained animal to do the actual fishing / treasure hunting. So the animal 'sniffs' out whatever there is to find underwater! (+ A seal definitely has a sniffing nose!🦭)
