I'm gutted by this news. When war broke out in Ukraine, Jesse went to help. In 2022, he supported families fleeing with their pets. In 2026, he returned for his third rescue mission and while helping to evacuate animals near the front lines a Russian drone hit him. He died later in the hospital. +

Labour now briefing young people won't get the same minimum wage uplift. Even Starmer didn't break this pledge. Workers rights mean same rights, pay & conditions, same rate for the same job. What does this Labour government have against young people? inews.co.uk/news/politic...
Minimum wage rise for 18- to 20-year-olds to £12.71 could be shelved
Labour had promised to bring the payment into line with those aged over 21

Today's decision by Labour to approve new drilling in the North Sea is climate vandalism. It's a betrayal of all of our futures, and Labour has abandoned all credibility in the fight against climate change. This is a victory for Shell over the people. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cw...

Activists say approving the gas field will raise carbon emissions - while the developers argue it is important for the UK’s energy security.

Will Labour next week in the budget tell us sad stories about "difficult decisions" and how there's "no money left?" Or will this Labour Government challenge the broken economic thinking that has lead us to this place? And tax the assets of multimillionaires & billionaires? 👀
