I think there’s a rising sense here that while the horse may be out of the barn, you’ve got to at least do something about it. In the US, we still don’t believe we have to do something about it. Both countries, the US and UK, have to step up.

There’s a joke that if you’ve dealt with Russians and you trust them, the joke is: "Have you met any fucking Russian ever?" That idea that Russians can manipulate our elections and change our values has been proven out several times.
Rick Wilson: Russians understand influence, and this nationalist populism, driven by a lot of white racial grievance, fearmongering, that’s a story beloved by Russians. They want to tell West, "Oh, we’re conservative white Christian nation full of people with the right values."
The escalation management crowd is weirdly quiet about North Korea giving Russia ballistic missiles to bomb Ukraine. 🤷♀️
It’s also partly that Ukrainian success with drone technology has really prevented Russians from moving forward. The system is running into reality, and that’s how Soviet Union finally broke down. When propaganda conflicted with reality and nobody believed the propaganda anymore.
And feeling of crisis is growing. You’ll see a real crisis in the next two or three months. We might begin to see more noise and dissent inside Russia. Because Russians see that they’re not winning the war. It’s partly reflection of Ukrainian success at hitting these Russian targets.
APPLEBAUM: Russians starting to see how narrative of Russia’s greatness and Putin’s tremendous success confronts reality. They see Ukrainian drones hitting Russia, especially attacks on oil refineries, but now also Wildberries. Billions of dollars of commerce going up in smoke.
🇸🇪🇺🇦 Sweden's Supreme Court has ruled to hand over the Russian shadow fleet vessel Caffa to Ukraine. The ship was used to illegally export grain out of occupied Sevastopol. Thank you Sweden!
To start crisis throughout banking sector in Russia, and make Russian economy even more fragile. And also to make it difficult for Putin to draw from it the war material that he wants.
Wildberries is also most indebted company in whole of Russia. It's carrying about $10 billion worth of debt. Most of that debt is held by state-sponsored, state-directed VTB Bank. Thinking in Kyiv seems to be that if they can bring down Wildberries, maybe they can bring down VTB Bank.
Michael Clarke: Last night, Ukraine attacked a Wildberries warehouse in Tula region. This was 14th of 15 biggest Wildberries warehouses. Wildberries now suffered attacks, destruction, or damage to 60% of its warehousing capacity. It's cost them $3 billion worth of stock so far.

“I’d like to congratulate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed on his victory. He ran a campaign described in his own words as 'money out of politics, money in your pocket, Medicare for All.' Despite him facing more than $60M in outside spending, he was able to prevail with a focus on the cost of living crisis."

Too often, while some folks “let those processes play out” along with Mike, women die. It’s long overdue time to take domestic violence seriously, little twerp.
Speaker Mike Johnson delivered a startling response to the unfolding controversy surrounding Rep. Max Miller: "It's part of being flawed humans. We have to let those processes play out."
We proved it in Wisconsin. We proved it in New York City. We proved it in dozens of special elections over the past year. People power over money!
Abdul El-Sayed was outspent 9-to-1 by AIPAC and corporate Super PACs in the most expensive Senate Democratic primary of all time. Last night, he proved that organized people can beat organized money.
This would amount to a complete capitulation from the US. Literally no way to even attempt to spin this as a win.
🚨 HAPPENING NOW 🚨 Women's Marchers have been arrested in the Capitol for standing vigil for the people killed by ICE. #AbolishICE llustrations by @channeldraw
Banger…Rod Serling, a genius in so many ways ( @anneserling.bsky.social is his lucky daughter) would agree. This *is* the Twilight Zone. bsky.app/profile/vani...
Donald J. Trump—a "master negotiator" presiding over endless conflict, a "master builder" undone by peeling paint, and a champion of "fair elections" that are fair only when he wins. He calls it winning; history may call it something else. Population: one oversized ego. Address: The Twilight Zone.
Dozens of gas-burning power plants are being built across the country, solely to power data centers. These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR. We need a data center moratorium — now.
Folks from the Women's March have been arrested at the Capitol for protesting ICE. Shout out to the women who are putting their lives and livelihoods on the line to get their message out: ABOLISH ICE.
A Good Charlotte song came on the radio at a café, so I whispered to the two younger people beside me, “I’m starting a band called Meh Charlotte.” They both laughed. At 53, this counts as youth outreach.
See you tomorrow, Ketchikan! Excited to be back in the Southeast for my favorite part of this campaign: meeting Alaskans face-to-face and hearing what's on their minds.
A bill heading to the Senate floor would incentivize social media platforms to use invasive identity verification measures and threaten our privacy online. Tell your Senators to vote NO on KOSA.
Censorship Does Not Keep Kids Safe
KOSA is an alarming bill that would enable censorship and violate young people’s First Amendment right to freely access information. We must call on Congress to act now and protect free speech online.

This is how it’s done. Concede defeat, congratulate the winner, and pledge to work together to advance the interests of the people. 👏👏👏
I encourage all of us to have the grace and focus shown in this going up within minutes of the race being called.
The Senate Agricultural committee is doing a markup of the Farm Bill tomorrow morning. Stop the Save Our Bacon amendment introduced by Joni Ernst from going to a vote. And we REALLY, need to convince Senate Dems to NOT support this. @ Isaiah Martin on Insta www.instagram.com/reel/DbrGGCu...
