It's time to retire this idea from some that Dems should nominate a straight white guy in 2028 to be "safe." Just look at GOP attacks on Talarico, a straight white Christian. They're calling him "Tofu Talarico," "transgender," and running the same culture-war playbook they use on everyone else.
