We'd prefer to pay down our debt with money we've authorized for that purpose, which Dump's tariffs aren't. And the debt is mostly caused by *Republicans* voting massive tax breaks for billionaires. Republicans don't want big debt? Republicans can stop giving billionaires a free ride. Tax them.
