I'm talking to Harry Mount in the new issue of the Oldie magazine about Idle in Provence - A Brief History of Thyme, the story of the little house we built and expanded and where I've lived happily off and on for 55 years. Three editions, UK, USA and France.

This gentleman came all the way from Kentucky. He said he’d been waiting 27 years to get me to sign his leg! I was the final Python to sign. A whole leg of Python images including TJ as the nude organist. Incredible.

Yesterday I signed copies of my book in French and English at the Lou Calen Hotel for three and a half hours….people were lovely and very friendly. Then we had drinks and a splendid dinner with friends and fans and a screening of Monty Python at The Hollywood Bowl perhaps my favourite Python film

Last night we had a lovely screening of The Meaning of Life at the open air cinema in Cotignac. 300 people attended. Including the Producer of the movie, the wonderful John Goldstone with his adorable wife Linda. After I signed books until we ran out. I’m signing again from 3 to 6 Lou Calen Hotel.
