The closer we get to the midterms the more I nervous I get. I am more and more concerned that trump and his minions will steal our votes, close our polling places, dispatch ICE to harass us and/or arrest us as we try to voice our opinions. I can’t shake the feeling. I so want to be wrong.

Fourteen years ago, HBO's 'The Newsroom' laid out the truth about voter ID in this segment. It’s striking how little the arguments — or the tactics — have changed. Still a solution in search of a problem. History doesn’t repeat itself — it gets rerun.

It just breaks my heart that my young family members will have to suffer the destruction of our democracy. I’m 74 and my husband is 83. We will not have to tolerate the horrific end of the best democracy that was ever known but they will. I’m so sorry.

How do people not adore this guy? If I didn’t already, this would’ve pushed me over the edge. I’d be donating, volunteering, the whole thing. Abdul El‑Sayed is bringing real energy to Michigan, and I’ll be in the state in September to canvass for him.

There is a video of the Epstein survivors testifying at the Todd Blanche confirmation hearing this morning, and testimony by the career pardon attorney that was fired by Todd Blanche. All of the GOP Senator seats are empty. They didn't even have the courage or respect to attend.
