The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

The EU Kids Act will make private servers illegal as it stands now. Read up on the Act yourself: hub.edri.org/index.php/s/... Contact your MEPs, tell them to scuttle this bill, and sign the Stop Killing Internet Initiative to ensure the protection of our digital spaces: eci.ec.europa.eu/066/public

If you're European as well, PLEASE go sign the Stop Killing The Internet initiative I cannot stress how bad the EU Kids Act will be for everyone if this goes through. It's never about the kids, the government wants more control on us

All hands on deck! Ross explains how the EU Kids Act could end #StopKillingGames by collapsing the EU gaming market! youtu.be/mQRcK9nYg9g "The best thing you can do is spread the word...The people who write this crap do not like it when the public at large knows what they're trying to do to you"

Today is Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada. We remember those we have lost. We honor those taken from us by the residential school system and we honor those who survived, their families and communities. We will never forget and we will carry them with us.

illustration for truth and reconciliation day. the illustration features a wolf looking forward, standing with its pup who is also looking forward. there is a circle behind them with an eight point star dreamcatcher and three feathers. the words "EVERY CHILD MATTERS" are featured on the side of the circle

For those planning to call Gavin Newsom about the Paramount merger, he's also considering gutting the state's Net Neutrality laws as well so go call him to protect the rules as well!

Fight for the Future@fightforthefuture.org · 2w ago

Net neutrality rules are crucial to protect us from censorship, price gouging, and arbitrary throttling. Newsom needs to stand up to Trump and internet service providers. Act now to preserve the internet: CALL TODAY and tell Governor Newsom DON'T CAVE. www.fightforthefuture.org/actions/save...
