A writer is never late—she arrives precisely when she means to. 😅 My fic for @xivnpcbang.bsky.social is up, with a more to come! Please check out some pre-ARR G'raha/Koana feels, and this LOVELY illustration for chapter 2 by my dear friend @skelevee.bsky.social archiveofourown.org/works/854769...

Koana and G'raha standing in front of the bookstand in Old Sharlayan's Agora. Koana is holding an ornate green hook and grinning, while G'raha tries to wave him off with a nervous laugh.

I had a lot of fun being part of @xivnpcbang.bsky.social the past few months, during which I got to draw a huge mural/comic of one of my favorite FFXIV characters, based on a story by quillofevernight on tumblr! <3 Lyna reminisces. (Ft. the fullsize image + 3 smaller so you can see the details!)

I'm excited to share my fic I wrote for the FFXIV NPC Mini Bang @xivnpcbang.bsky.social with lovely artwork by @runawaypossum.bsky.social! It's a closure fic centering on Amon, Meteion, and Hermes. Rated: T Words: 17k+ Multichapter, ongoing ➤My Aphelion

Artwork of Meteion and Amon's reunion in the Aitiascope. She is gazing up at Amon fondly with tears in her eyes as they embrace. The artwork is framed by the ingame FFXIV sidequest template.

Sidequest description:
Meteion now explores the bustling world of Etheirys to learn of the multitude of journeys, feelings, and experiences of its inhabitants. However, she feels something inexplicable suddenly calling to her. The entelechy soon discovers she has been granted a chance to visit the mysterious aetherial sea miraculously without detriment to her fragile constitution of dynamis. Little did she know who was waiting for her on the other side.

Henlo, friends! I had the opportunity to illustrate a scene from some good ol' Old Man Yaoi written by @bluelink13.bsky.social ! Thank you to @xivnpcbang.bsky.social for hosting this event, be sure to check it out! Read 2 Old Men, Chilling in a Hot Tub: archiveofourown.org/works/857684...

Loved working on 2OM for @xivnpcbang.bsky.social! archiveofourown.org/works/857684... Hope you enjoy me writing about two old men being sad about having a Job To Do and being very touchy about it. Also huge thanks to @tetsumiro.com, her art is incredible and I will be thinking about it forever.

Promo image for 2 Old Men, Chilling in a Hot Tub, there is an image of one naked man touching another, and the description of the work reads "G'raha Tia is alone, in pain, and deperatly waiting for the day his lifa can end so the world ~~And his hero~~ can live.

Emet is alone, in pain, and desperatly grasping at anything he can to bear his slow march into hell.

For sometime, they are less so."

I had the honor of illustrating a scene from a Sidurgu/Haurchefant fic by @wakingnaturally.bsky.social for the Side Quest Mini Bang! The fic is beautifully written, you should definitely give it a read! Thank you @xivnpcbang.bsky.social for hosting! 💖 Read here: archiveofourown.org/works/85677771

Illustration of Haurchefant Greystone and Sidurgu Orl. They are in a room dimly lit by warm firelight, and Haurchefant is smiling, offering perhaps a gentle invitation of some sort to Sidurgu, who looks on, arms folded but in thought

Sidurgu excels at spotting traps, be they bets, lovers, blizzards, or lore.

One must watch out for trope-laden bedtime stories. He rejects anything that sounds like a funeral or a faerie tale outright.

In which Rielle chooses a quest, and the fairytale that follows when she, Sidurgu Orl and Haurchefant Greystone embark on an adventure full of unicorns, heretics, and snow.

I'm so excited to share Flowers on the Path! This fic has a gorgeous piece of art from @constellarium.bsky.social, who has been much fun to work with!💐 Written for @xivnpcbang.bsky.social ✨

chapter 1 preview: tired of talk of hope, set in the quest framework on a background of lilies of the valley glowing at night.

His graceful invitation gets them past the door, at least. Sidurgu considers turning back around when Haurchefant shares the details over steaming mugs of tea.
Still a bit crumpled and smeared with melted snow, the parchment from the quest board lies on the desk, smoothed as straight as it'll go.
Seeking a capable escort for a sacred — if wildhearted — friend in their search for safer pastures. Inquire further at Camp Dragonhead.
-HG
Aside from being worse for wear, the missive had been entirely lacking in its description of what the neatly scrawled HG wishes from this arrangement.

chapter 2 preview: doves and ravens fly the same

With the morning would come their departure for whatever sacred place Haurchefant had in mind for their stabled friends, and after? A storm, surely. And then the city of stone and snow, and the path, just him and Rielle until she, too, chooses turns of her own.

Haurchefant had hardly needed him for this quest. But they'd gone together, and Sidurgu had found himself awed and relieved. An odd way to pass these days, certainly, but had they not been safer and (by the grace of Heretics) better kept than he might have managed on his own?

All he'd learned from Ompagne had put his steps in line with Fray's, and after everything, there had been nowhere to go but forward. The path remains, but with another set of footfalls so close to his, it seems, for the first time, he has another option — an alternative to alone.

It sits strangely, how badly he wants Haurchefant Greystone to be an option.
