everyone seems to define the rate of learning by the rate at which they consume information (e.g. reading a book) but a more important metric is the rate at which you update your priors whats the point in consuming a bunch of information where at the end, nothing you already knew was falsified?

most people only like to work on things that are recognizably hard, as opposed to working on things that fundamentally need to be solved. sometimes there is overlap, and we should consider ourselves lucky when that is the case

sometimes i want to delete everything blockchain related on my computer and then throw it away and just go work on a farm or something idk

had shit playing on shuffle today and this album came on. i used to listen to it a lot during a very high stress time in my life. lots of memories in this one. such a unique sound to associate these memories to. 🎶 “and we probably share a trait or two. but i cant see what i cant relate to” 🎶
