This photo isn’t edited—it’s an image of the BWCA as 55,000 acres burns. Our way of life in MN is being forced to change because of the climate crisis. So why aren’t we holding Big Oil accountable? We need to pass a Climate Superfund and force Big Oil to pay to clean up their mess.

Congress wants to bail out Big Oil. New legislation would block states like Minnesota from making polluters pay for climate damage. It would mean more profits for oil CEOs, more costs for us. Zero accountability. Tell Congress: No Immunity for Big Oil. Take Action: 5calls.org/issue/big-oi...

TELL CONGRESS:
NO IMMUNITY FOR BIG OIL!

Minnesotans are paying the price for climate change — in flood damage, extreme heat, and rising insurance costs. At the same time, big oil is making record profits. That's why today we're launching MN vs. Big Oil, a campaign to create a Climate Superfund— to make polluters pay for their mess.

Minnesota families are already paying the orice for climate change.

Climate change is already impacting Minnesotans. We’re inviting people across Minnesota to share how it’s affecting their lives, communities, and futures during Make Polluters Pay Week (Jan 26–31). Your story matters, and we want to hear it. Interested? Go to 100percentmn.org/stories

Share Your Story: How have you been impacted by the climate crisis?

Minnesota communities are stepping up and taking climate action into their own hands. Today, 26% of Minnesotans live in a city with a Local Climate Action Plan — and 31% live in a county with one.

Tonight we join the chorus of people memorializing Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, while keeping Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette in our hearts.

NOW WHAT?
A RACE TO WIN AT #MNLEG
THURSDAY MARCH 27 6:30-8PM.

Today friends from across the state showed up at the capitol to tell representatives to stay strong in their boycott of the #mnleg session until a power-sharing agreement is reached. Voters fought hard to make Minnesota a better state for everyone, and we won’t let those protections be taken away.

We’re channeling our anxiety into commitment. If you’re ready to protect what we’ve won during the next administration, and position ourselves to win more, join us. We’re hosting a Zoom call next Thursday from 6:30-8:00. RSVP Here: tinyurl.com/3bhynk5j

Yesterday, #mnleg was set to reconvene—but that didn’t happen. Instead, GOP members seized control of the chamber, claiming authority, and attempting to override the will of the voters. It was a straightforward and illegal power grab that is likely to be thrown out by courts. shorturl.at/h4D2J
