Seeing a pro-Trump acquaintance on FB reposting a country singer's rant against AI data centers feels like a turning point. Don't get me wrong, she's still a racist POS, but if the Left can effectively establish themselves as the party of AI regulation, they will win over a lot of voters.

It's amazing that the Right has turned Soros into the ultimate boogeyman for funding leftist causes (and by amazing I mean antisemitic), meanwhile the overwhelming majority of billionaires (and one trillionaire) are spending their money on propping up the presidency of another billionaire.

Two headlines on the front page of the Washington Post today: * "The Pentagon, sinking billions into Iran war, quickly runs short on cash." * "1.5 million children lost food aid since last July, analysis says" I wonder if there's anything the US could have done differently to avoid this.

Come on guys, it's a bit. At this point, 99% of the stupidest takes on the internet are just trolls hoping to get screenshotted. You can say, "Well, everyone is so stupid, it *could* have been real," but if you keep falling for ragebait, that's on you.

The Odyssey was fantastic, a film that truly earns the description "epic". Wonder if this is the year Matt Damon wins his second Oscar. Also, random, but Stephen Fry was at the same screening as me. Didn't get to say anything to him, but still cool to see him.

This pales in comparison to the 10000-word "review" of The Odyssey that spent about 500 words explaining why Helen couldn't be black because of a survey of racial preferences in sexual attraction. Somehow that negative review is included in the official Tomatometer score.
