ive definitely grown off of RE8 on replay but its still a great time like just how it just does whatever when it comes to its horror

finished DL2 so before i went to bed i briefly played The Beast and said outloud when i fought some zombies "HOLY SHIT THEY FEEL LIKE A THREAT AGAIN"
revisiting the old versions of DL2 they showed back in 2018-19 god i really wish we got that version of the game especially story wise

its funny i feel if DL2 WASNT a dying light game i feel like it would be better appreciated on its own

the whole alignment system in DL2 falls so flat for me simply becuz the survivor perks are just objectively better than the peacekeepers
i feel like ive been able to reach a point where i can enjoy Dying Light 2 for what it is and not compare it to 1 so much
i mean even pacing wise after watching everything that was cut its not even that long of a prologue in the first place just such a bizarre thing to do for a game thats been out for four years now
