Everyone should go see this in November. Whether you're a Godzilla/Kaiju fan or not. In fact, go watch Godzilla Minus One first. It is every bit the amazing period piece as it is a monster movie. Wonderful cinematography, loveable characters and an emotional story.

Replayed Splatoon 2's story mode. Oof, what an absolute slog of a game, and with the online dead, I see very little reason to play it nowadays. Starting and playing Splatoon 3 for the first time, on the other hand, is like night and day difference.

It's wild to me that the chapter I just finished writing for CrossActs tells a story I had started writing in Last Tail before I gave up on that project. That story being how Laik-then-Advrik came into possession of his signature weapon, 'The Canine'.
Though no longer connected to the Sonic the Hedgehog series in the slightest, #CrossActs hasn't forgotten its roots or inspiration.
Seeing as I have somehow maintained 400+ followers since I crossed the threshold, I'd like to hold a small casting call for #CrossActs! Details will be announced in the coming days, but I essentially want to include YOUR OC in some capacity in a future chapter. #FurryOC #SonicOC #OC
I really love writing, even if I can't always get myself to actually sit down to do it. When I do, I am reminded of why I love it so much: These characters, this world, the stuff that happens. It's mine to do as I please, tell the sort of stories I want to tell. Even if no one else reads it.

The (great!) summer of unemployment has finally come to an end, as I begin my new (old) job again at my previous place of work tomorrow afternoon. It's not going to be nearly as strenuous or demanding as my last job (I'm not management!), but neither will the pay be as good. But it's weekly pay!

Not sold on Fire Emblem in the slightest, not at $80. Gameplay content not withstanding, the presentation (which is something I never factor into purchases) does not reflect the asking price. First major Switch 2 release that I'll be skipping.

I should have known better based on the key art for the game, but learning that Starsand Island uses GenAI in its development effectively killed any interest I had in the game. Shame.
That one shot in Spider-Man Brand New Day where the actress playing MJ legit looked like Kirsten Dunst for one brief scene was bizarre.

Another step I am taking towards de- #SonicOC 'ing my characters while still keeping the vibe is eliminating firmly established height measurements for all of them. Going forward, they'll simply be given general labels such as "average", "tall", "short", etc.
