I am in Japan for the month working on the new issue of HEEL/FACE. 4 part Mini series on cafe culture will be going live on patreon some time this month. Thank you for the support and I am excited to show the photos and stories I am working on!
No patreon post this week! My flight to Japan was canceled due to a typhoon and then my hard drive corrupted! See you on the other side (Japan) next week.
Couple of portraits I shot at PAX this year. I'll get a full photo gallery up on patreon this week! P.S this is the photo I got of you @jacobgeller.com !
I went into this show thinking I'd gotten bored with shooting concerts Then I spent the night at the Ballard VFW shooting Hong Kong Fuck You 9 bands, a broken nose, a lot of sweat, a 24 oz White Claw, and a Hello Kitty bass guitar to the head New photo essay on Patreon www.patreon.com/HEELFACE
Some in camera double exposures of rock and roll band The Beths I shot last night
FROM THE PAGES OF HEEL/FACE VOL. 3 Bridget Powerz and Sassee Cassee of Micro Maidens. HEEL/FACE Vol. 3 — available now. Link in bio.
I’m getting older, I’m broke, and I’m no longer willing to be the weird old guy at a basement show full of 20-somethings. So how do I find new music? I let Den Tapes do the work. I photographed Den Fest 5 and wrote a little bit about the bands that blew me away. Patreon.com/HEELFACE
I ment to buy a ticket to Japan for a full month, but instead bout it for a single day.
