Yesterday my husband and I decided to start working out again and went a bootcamp style gym so only minimal yardwork got done before it started raining. He planted some sweet potato slips in grow bags. Took some yard photos during the rain. 🌱

All this is gonna be packed with plants in the summer. Main blooms the yellow yarrow, with purple chives next to it. The pink clematis. This view is from the back corner window of my house. Those sticks are from last years swamp Hibiscus. I pinched it back so it will be bushier already. By summer you won't see those sticks. I was thinking of using them as supports for this year's plants. We will see how that works. The view looking at the redbud from the back patio door. I normally pick more flattering views but why not show what it looks like from a distance. We did get a second composter too.
