I really can’t believe I got this Turbo Express working again! Alkaline batteries from the 90s completely exploded and wreaked havoc on all of the PCBs. I replaced the cart slot pcb and controller pcb, patched a bunch of traces, and installed an LCDDRV to finish the job!

The best convention in the US. Sure, the vendor floor is great, but it’s hard to convey the amount of hands-on video game history that one can experience here. Unique experiences, not just shopping.

Behold, the most terrifying N64 RGB mod I have ever seen in my life! I grabbed this N64 on eBay for $10 and the seller claimed that he did this RGB mod in the early 2000s. And apparently it worked! Let's see if we can fix it: 1/

One final repair before I rest for the holidays - a PC Engine LT! This one came back to life after a recap but the backlight on its display was barely working. I replaced the original screen with an LCDDRV, and now it’s looking better than ever!
