Spent the last 30 minutes trying to fix some low frequency rumble at the quiet intro of a tune I'm mixing down, using high pass filters to try and isolate it, even though nothing was showing on spectrum analysis. Driving me nuts. Turns out it was my own heart I could hear.

When artists and labels say "I love Bandcamp", ask yourself - who even are they any more? How many of the original staff who made it such a great platform still work there? Who even owns them now, after they've been bought/sold more times than we can count? Sorry to everyone who lost their jobs 💙

my 13 years at bandcamp are coming to an end - i’ve been laid off along with most of the remaining engineers. best job i’ve ever had, working with the best people you could ever work with. unceremonious end to quite a ride.

Great, so now the EU is introducing their own import duty for all parcels from outside the EU (3 euros, per-item/HS line) starting July 1st. Anyone know if Bandcamp is taking this fee at PoS,or if it's left for us, the artist/label, to deal with afterwards? It's just one thing after another.

RIP Rob Grant. Anyone of a certain age here in the UK will know how huge Red Dwarf was. It was ubiquitous. I remember in my school, they used to have an emergency stack of Red Dwarf VHS tapes, which they used to play on a rolling TV when a lesson was cancelled/the teacher was bored. Peak Britain.
