CNBC announces U.S. manufacturing activity is slowing: Factory orders are down 0.3%, compared to down 1.3% last month. If you take away transportation orders, it's still a negative number. We were expecting up 0.4%. We're now down 0.4%. That's the worst number since April 2025. C
