Born 2 Aug 1951, US singer/songwriter Andrew Gold. He had the 1977 US No.7 single 'Lonely Boy', and the 1978 UK No.5 single 'Never Let Her Slip Away'. His 'Thank You for Being a Friend' was used as the theme music for The Golden Girls. He died in 2011 from a heart attack, aged just 59. #AndrewGold
