i kinda want to give dragon age games a try, and i own basically all of them on multiple platforms, but they seem inpenetrable. dragon age origins on steam looks hideous, it is the worst kind of 360-era game when played on a modern setup. maybe i should just play it on xbox 360?

splatoon raiders is a rare digital preorder for me. i haven't played splatoon since splatoon 2, i'm excited to dig into a game where i won't be nuked by veteran players in seconds.
i'm maybe 18-20 hours into expedition 33 and my feelings on it are complicated. on one hand, it's starting to lose my attention, on the other hand i'm continuously marveled by the artistic expression on display. i just wish it had better navigation, and some more QOL features on loadouts.
the new crj songs fuckin' hit, man. can't wait for the record.
at present my favorite bethesda game is still "the terminator 2029" from the early 1990s but maybe one of these will hit

every time i see this game i get excited that the next game in "the forest" is out soon, but that's not what this game is and that's a shame.

yesterday I watched the first season of Hacks in a single sitting. it is a good television programme. that is all.
The only time I I've moved away from Pixel phones since 2016 was a brief period in 2020 where I bought a OnePlus 8 from Verizon. I had a Pixel phone again about 6 months later, if that tells you anything.

You probably don't have very many days to go see Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass. The movie opened yesterday and there were 4 people in attendance. Don't miss it. This is the best thing Wain has done since Wet Hot.
@boatcrash.bsky.social @cheapassgamer.com I'm listening to CAGCast and I feel your hesitation to spend $70 on digital games. I have that same hesitation with PS5 games but for Steam it's not an issue for me because I've seen over time I'll be able to access these games on any future hardware I buy.
this video really clicked with me, even though i feel completely different about digital games than jon does. put simply: who cares about infinite choice in games when you have limited time? i have more games in my steam library than i will ever play in my lifetime.
