90’s Deadhead

@90sdeadhead.bsky.social

Been a Deadhead and a regular concert goer since 1990 till about 2015 when I mostly refuse to pay millionaires hundreds of dollars to watch them perform. I’m not a racist science denying religious treasonous hateful nazi ai supporting magat.

Hey now @bsky.app Is there a feature on your app where I can block: -screenshots of trump posts -ai created “art” I’ve probably blocked thousands of people who share such propaganda and there are still thousands and thousands more who continue to share. This site is becoming less and less fun

When I got into attending Grateful Dead concerts, I focused mainly on attending Grateful Dead concerts, spending my limited funds on other bands was rare. During my 79 Dead show tour, I attended 5 non Dead concerts. -Plant & Black Crows -Pink Floyd -Plant -Allman Brothers & Black Crows -Page & Plant

Was inside the Santa Barbara Bowl on Tue Aug27,2013 where Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience ~> Heart. The music was better than great, the fans SUCKED. Even with this set list, 99% of the audience sat quietly throughout the show. Pissed me off. Also, the no smoking rule was enforced. Yay/Boo

Was on the lawn inside Shoreline on Fri Aug27,1993 watching the Grateful Dead. I went to this concert without a ticket. Finger up look 4 A miracle walking through Shakedown with 2 $20s and guy stops me. The spot on the ticket’s from my cig testing the paper. Set list was worth all the anticipation

It seems it’s confirmed that John Mayer has not stepped away from the Grateful Dead company, but was dropped off on the side of the road. Best news I have heard in years. Nobody’s gonna follow dead and company featuring that bassist guy. I think John was a miserable representative for the dead.

Happen to be walking around the mini strip in Reno NV drunk, walked through the Silver Legacy Casino where I saw a Beatles tribute band was playing in a few min. Why the hell not? So I buy my ticket, score a drink, and take my seat. Band was miserable. Walked out by third tune #TicketStubWed

Was in the 200 section inside the Concord on Tue Aug26,1997 where Kenny Wayne Shepherd ~> Lynyrd Skynyrd. As wild a concert as I’ve seen. Serious rock ‘n’ roll from the first note of the concert to the last. I’m assuming we heard the songs we assume we heard. No set list. I no longer support LS

Was in section 102 inside Shoreline on Thu Aug26,1993 attending what I believe was my 24th Grateful Dead concert. This show was just as groovy as the night before for diff reasons. This set list is so~so but watching it unfold from close enough to make eye contact with each band member just as good.

Was on the lawn inside Shoreline on Fri Aug25,2000 where the Furthur 2000 tour featuring The Other Ones put on a concert. This band had four original members from the Grateful Dead. It was usually a good time reuniting with the tour buddies every few years. Listening to the same songs old as fuck

Was on the lawn inside Shoreline on Wed (a Wed show, kinda weird) Aug25,1993 enjoying the fuck out of myself at another Grateful Dead concert. This show had an awesome set list. Im sure my roommate tapped the show, and I’m sure I have my first generation bootleg cassette tape in my closet. Still

If you folks listen to classic rock ‘n’ roll, there would never be an opportunity for AI to creep into the music you listen to. Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, the doors, the Grateful Dead, you understand, tons of good music without the possibility of AI

Last night’s free Led Zepagain’s concert in the park was,Right up my alley. Zeppelin tunes played LOUD, rock fans mostly rock and rolling. Saw many chicks in mini skirts, saw a lot of children dancing to the music, beer garden was almost packed, beach balls and good audience participation. Good time

Tonight’s free summer concert series in the park is Led Zepagain. It’s the 11th and final concert of the 2026 season. Believing that LZ is the greatest band ever, tonight’s expected to be the show of the year. Yes, I expect a lot tonight, a packed fucking park of rock ‘n’ roll fans rock ‘n’ rolling

I would not be a decent representative for the Grateful Dead if I did not celebrate Donna Godchaux on her birthday. I am a fan of her’s on maybe 85% of the tunes she was back up singing on. She did make some epic tunes epicier. I saw her perform on a boardwalk in SF in the later 1990’s.

The Bo Diddly and ShaNaNa concert at the Greek theater in Los Angeles on Tues Aug22,1978 was my first live concert experience ever. My folks took 8yo me And my younger brother bc we were fans of SNN’ tv program. No Souvenir shirt or saved tickets stub, But a memory that stayed with me for 50+ yrs

Was probably in the 100 section inside the Greek Theater in Los Angeles Ca on Tues Aug22,1978 where Bo Diddly opened for ShaNaNa. SNN had a great tv show at the time and 8yo me was a big fan. I recall our seats, folks on stage, as well as a glitch in their video screen that looked trippy to me.

To you folks who really believe you are a part of normal society AND own a tesla, it was your ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY MILLION dollars that elon musk is donating to the Republican Party to steal another presidential election. To you Tesla owners, every one of you, FUCK OFF!!!

Happy birthday to Robert Plant. He’s a founding member of the greatest rock band to ever play music on this planet, Led Zeppelin back in 1968 and he continues to tour to this day. Robert is Still a Living Legend. If you are a rock music fan and never seen him live, FUCKING GO ALREADY!! It’s worth it

Was inside the Concord on Mon Aug19,1996 where STYX and Kansas both performed one set. This concert turned out to one of my favorites yet. Both bands brought just about full audience participation. Most folks were stoked to be there and shared their vibes. Since 8/19/96, I cat tell the band apart.
