The last time dad was able to walk on his own before Alzheimer’s took him from us, 2 weeks ago. He taught my sis & I to love the outdoors—our family’s blue VW bus took us on wondrous California trips with John Denver + Simon & Garfunkel on its 8-track as we climbed slowly, higher into the pines ♥️
⇅ Not unlike a double exposure, we humans are confusing at first glance. But, like the stacked layers, there is much to learn, explore and appreciate Here are 3 double exposures from my photos of Glacier National Park and my father as Alzheimer's took him off—alone—into the quiet pines.
