Been seeing a lot of people headcanon Yellow from Deltarune as having moral OCD and yeah, I can see some parallels to my own experiences. Definitely feel the excessive self-punishment for things people tell me “aren’t a big deal”, and just in general struggling with doing justice “the right way”.
It’s a lot of young people raised online, well before they can understand how complicated morality really is and - importantly - before they can see that complexity in themselves. From experience, the realization that you, too, fall under a shade of grey is *crushing* if you’re used to moralizing.

I've gotta say once again, "if you post your work online, you should EXPECT/are inviting people to do [x negative/rude thing]" isn't the stellar logical argument you think it is you're actually only telling the creatives in your fandom to -stop posting their work- in public spaces
