I’ve thought about buying the Ray-Ban Meta many times. With two young kids and the idea of having a POV camera attached to my glasses that can be used for taking pictures and videos of them without pulling my phone out is really enticing. Until I realize it’s Meta. And how creepy they can be.

But that’s exactly how ANY LLM works.

If you use Claude right now, then it doesn’t pick the “best” word for a sentence. It creates a distribution of possible words, assesses the probability of any given word fitting the slot, and randomly picks between them based on that probability.

I really, really dont understand how some people/companies get the raw, clearly LLM-written text and just slap it on a corporate email and send it along. Do they really think it "looks good"? Or that no one will notice?

AI tools will reduce the need for software engineers the same way that no-code tools reduced this. Being able to specify what software you want to build, how it should be structured, and how *exactly* it should work is... programming. And getting into the weeds, when needed.
